Skilful actions
rooted in generosity, compassion and understanding - lead to happiness
unskilful actions
3 poisons - ignorance, greed and hate - lead to suffering
six realms
Good or bad kamma resulting in re-birth in one of six realms - animals, tormented beings and human (human is the best)
karuna
compassion - wanting others to be free from suffering

four sublime states
loving kindness,compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity
