Mayana Buddhism
Compassion; the sangha and the laity come together; Nirvana = samsara.
Parinirvana-
nirvana without remainder
Buddhist dharma-
Teachings of Buddha capture the essence of the cosmic order ; Buddhist dharma is based off rule (5 precepts- Applies to everyone); Hindu dharma is based off caste and your age.
Buddhist Karma-
intentional action with the 5 ethical precepts as standards

Thirst and desires

Awakened one; siddhatha gautema spoiled prince who did not know suffering then had the four sights (change, death, illness, path renancer) middle way path.
4 noble truths:
- Life involves suffering
- suffering is caused by craving, desires, attachment
- suffering ends when desire, cravings, and attention ends
- reach to the state to the 8 noble paths
