Q

What is the story of Buddha

A

Buddha was Born a prince and was kept away from suffering by his father. His father had been warned that if Buddha saw the 4 signs of suffering (death, sickness, age and a monk) he would become a wandering holly man. When Buddha was older he wondered what was outside the palace doors and went outside. To his astonishment he saw all the signs of suffering and tried to find the solution to suffering and became a holly man. He shaved his head and fasted with the monks for 6 years until he realized the must be a middle path to life. He then meditates under a badi tree and broke his cycle of rencarnation because he had found enlightenment.
