What is the story of the life of the Buddha
The Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama) was a prince and his father wanted him to see suffering but one day he escaped the palace and saw four sights - old age, illness, death and a holy man. After he saw this made him think about life. So he left his family and did intense meditation meaning that he didn’t have any food, money or clothes. Then he realised this was wrong and left his group and fought Mara. He found a Bodhi tree and mediated under it and one day a girl came over to him and offered a bowl of rice and this made him create a middle way - a path of balance. This made him enlightened and decided to teach his escetics.
