It is a very strict, simple lifestyle devoted to prayer and meditation

The highest state that someone can attain, it is a place of perfect peace and happiness
What is the main points of the story of siddhartha
Siddartha was locked in his palace and spent most of his life luxurious but wanted to see the outside world, wanted to explore the village. He saw suffering people, a corpse and old people. He didn’t know this happened to people after his luxurious life. He then left behind his life and for 6 years he went to a forest and meditated until he was enlightened.
What was the tree that Siddhartha sit under called?
The Bodhi tree
What does the first universal truth, Anicca, tell us?
It tells us that he realised that nothing ever stays the same, things are always changing
What does the second universal truth, Anatta, tell us?
It tells us that he realised that because everything changes, nothing is permanent
What does the third universal truth, Dukkha, tell us?
It tells us that he realised that we want to always find a way to be certain and safe but this never works because we grow old which makes us sad and uncertain.
What is the first noble truth?
There will always be some sort of suffering
What is the second noble truth?
Suffering is caused by wanting more things. This cannot bring happiness because things are always changing.
What is the third noble truth?
Accept that things change and to treasure each moment. If you live in a way that is good and helps others you will be happy.
What is the fourth noble truth?
Follow the advice given in the eightfold path so that you are at peace with yourself and the world.
