What are the BTV monitoring phases?
- Above 600 RA (calculated data)
- After touchdown (realtime data)
Dry and wet line replaced by one green line with realtime stop distance
What happens if selected exit is missed?
BRK HI and stop line turns amber with memo and BTV will command full braking till full stop
What will happen if crew selected wrong rwy?
At 300 RA it will revert to BRK HI
What does BTW take into consideration with reversers and glidepath?
- Dry: Idle REV
- Wet: MAX Rev
- nominal 3º GP
What is the max lenght difference between OANS and AGC to use BTV?
35m
On a dry RWY what exit should crew use?
exit after WET line for PAX comfort and unanticipated rwy conditions
What speed does BTV target if exiting at rwy end?
10kts 300m from rwy end
When you cannot use BTV?
Contaminated RWY
Fails affecting LDG Perf (e.g. REV)
OANS vs AGC LDA diff > 35m
When may PM select zoom during approach?
Below 500 RA
In case of GA what happens to armed BTV mode?
- GA > 500 RA remains armed, otherwise disarms
What speed does BTV target usually ? (exception to end of rwy vacation )

What shoud crew do when they miss an exit?
- Deactivate BTV
- Vacate with manual braking

When is PWS Active
T/O: Take off roll till 100kts and then inhibited till 50ft

PWS Aural warning is “W/S AHEAD”
PWS Aural Caution is “Monitor Radar Display”
What should pilots do if they get a W/S AHEAD warning before T/O?
Delay T/O if credible threat.
What should the pilot do if PWS triggers during the T/O Run?
Consider TOGA or Reject
