Arnica montana
Injury to abdominal deep tissues; injuries of nerves with great pain; pain is sore, bruised, as if beaten
Bellis perennis
Hate being disturbed; better lying perfectly still or lying on the affected side; vomiting after injury

Unexpected blow, attack, trauma; cataracts after injury; slow digestion from injuries; induration after injury; affinity for sexual organs

Lack of heat (cold); warmth aggravates; blue/purple/mottled better with cold application

Stings and bites with marked redness, swelling, and heat; burning or stinging worse heat
Apis
Puncture wounds with anaerobic infections; severe burning with threatening infxn; gangrene; necrotic tissue

Secondary infections; lymphagitis; cannot walk, must run or jump; convulsion remedy
Bufo rana
Prevents infxn in early stages after injury; bleeds freely; torn soft tissues; suppurating

Severe burns with marked pain, restlessness and anxiety; blackened skin with threatening gangrene; averse cold applications; chills and weakness from severe burns; lack of internal heat
Arsenicum
Burns of the mouth and esophagus; pain is excessive and out of proportion to injury; excessive pain with delirium
Calendula
Second and third degree burns with exquisite burning pain and blistering; painful burns that are better with cold; scalding of the mouth and throat; for chemical and electrical burns
Cantharis
Excessive burns over large parts of the body; chemical burns; after burns, skin begins to ulcerate
Carbolic acidum
Long-term consequences after serious burns; burns crack, ulcerate, or fail to heal; severe scarring after burns from long past
Causticum
Burns from steam or vapor; x-ray burns or treatments after
Kali-bichromicum
Gangrenous burns; serious burns of the distal extremities; patient complains of intense burning although the area is cold to the touch
Secale cornutum
Minor burns with itching or prickling; superficial; from scalding water

Aconite
Useful when stretching, pulling, trauma to the soft tissues is involved; much bruising and aching; dental surgery
Arnica
Trauma to the organs; bruised, aching pain; pain after hysterectomy; swelling of LN; injury to deep tissues of pelvis/abdomen
Bellis perennis
Severe pain after surgery; nausea after; cannot move without pain or nausea; ailments from excision of ovaries; better lying perfectly still or lying on painful side
Bryonia
Weakness, coldness, collapse after surgery; marked distention and eructations that relieve; anxious and oppressed in closed room; distention from the smallest amount of food/drink
Carbo vegetabilis
Phantom limb pain after surgery/amputation; pain in nerve-rich areas; severe sharp neuralgic pains after eye surgery; stitching, shooting pains from surgical site
Hypericum
Infected incisions with cold, soft swelling; tetanic rigidity during convulsions; injured part becomes cold as ice and spasms begin in the wound; ailments from operation; coldness of affected part, with blue or purplish hue
Ledum
Coma, sleepiness, lethargy with stupor and stertorous respiration; fear and panic follows surgery when memory is recalled; constipation; reopening of old wounds
Opium
Fear of surgery; N/V after abdominal surgery; disorientation, fearfulness, weakness after anesthesia
Phosphorus
Infections after surgery; purulent, offensive infections; high fever with slow pulse; body aches similar to arnica; inflammation after operation
Pyrogenium
Burning pain of eye after operation; cannot bear dental operation; incisions are morbidly sensitive/painful and heal slowly; complications and residual pain after surgical procedures that damage or stretch orifices; involuntary urination after bladder surgery
Staphysagria
Failing post-surgical patient; cold, state of collapse; hemorrhage and intolerable pain after surgery; unable to wean off respirator; photophobia; illusions; lack of vital heat after operation
Strontium carbonicum
What are the main remedies for concussions or head injuries?

Childish behavior after head injury; convulsions or vertigo after head injury; indifference; sadness; concussion with spasms; dysuria
Cicuta
Sadness and stupefaction after head injury; concussion of spine; slow gradual paralysis on one or all planes; injury is unexpected
Conium
Dullness, confused, and slowness after head injury; patient seems confused and in a hazy, rubs forehead when trying to think, passive; muscles will not obey; HA extending down the spine; hearing impaired; slow respiration
Helleborus
Chronic mental changes after injury; convulsions immediately after head injury; dullness, loss of memory, injury to coccyx; unconsciousness from concussion; asthmatic respiration
Hypericum
Suicidal after head injury, chronic mental and personality changes; confusion/dullness after head injury; loathing of life and fear of being left alone; concussion
Nat-sulph
Stupor/coma after head injury, face is red with perspiration; rattling stertorous breathing after head injury; contracted pupils after head injury; severe injury which is reported to be painless; sleepiness after head injury
Opium
Dullness, sadness, memory loss, vertigo; vomiting after injury; suppression of urine from concussion of spinal column; metorrhagia from concussion; lifting agg; restless where sitting agg
Rhus-tox
Mental symptoms from injuries/accidents; vomiting, constipation after; metorrhagia after concussion
Ruta graveolens
Concussion, HA after mechanical injury; standing impossible; commotion of the brain
