Made in jalisco mexico. Uses Tahona method (500 years old) uses a 2 tonne millstone made of volcanic rock that is used to crush blue agave prior to fermentation. The name olmecs comes form the olmecs.

Why is it called a navy rum
it dates back to the royal navy issuing a daily ration of rum to its sailors. 1970 they stopped rationing the rum to sailors. They used this as advertising “Join the lambs navy”
