The Nile regularly flooded, bringing high amounts of minerals and nutrients, nurturing the soil
What are irrigation systems?
A network of canals used to flood fields and maximize crop yields.
What did the Hitites have an abundance of?
Tin and copper, from mines in Turkey and Cyprus.
What did they develop to supply other nations with those goods?
Trade routes, through and out on the Mediterranean.
What did Assyria lack in comparison to the Hitites?
Trade ports on the Mediterranean, because of that they push westward.
How come Myceneans have such power in the trade network?
They were seafarers, an industrial center, importing raw goods and exporting finished products.
