What is the microsystem?
A
The factors present in the immediate environment of the person (home, school, workplace, etc)

What is the mesosystem?
A
The interrelations among major settings containing the developing person at a particular point in their life
(interrelations between different microsystems)

Exosystem
A
Structural factors that exist outside of the immediate environment that don’t themselves contain the developing person but impinge the immediate settings in which person is found

A
The overarching institutional patterns of the culture or subculture
