Churchill and his speeches
They were inspiring to the public and boosted the British moral.
Had the reputation as one of the the greatest orators of the 20th century.
Churchill worked hard at his speeding skills he prepared before hand and spent hours polishing and re wording them.
They were designed to send messages of hope and a signal of defiance towards the nazis.
Even his opposition clement atlee said that Churchill won the war because he spoke about it.
Describe the second front
Throughout the USSR was supplied by its allies in the Britain empire and the US.
Stalin appreciate it but urged a second front this would relieve pressure on his forces in the east.
He wanted an invasion of German held France in 1942 many commanders agreed with him.
In the end British empire and US forces attacked North Africa in 1943 and Italy and then France in 1944
