0.5 mg (up to 3 mg).
Push fast and follow it up with NS flush that is also pushed fast.

Adenosine

A

An antiarrhythmic agent - meaning it can help with achieving a better rhythm.

Give 6 mg. IV push fast then flush. Wait 1-2 min. Give 12 mg and flush fast.

Good for irregular rhythms so dysrhythmias .

Amiodarone

A

An anti arrhythmic agent - meaning it can help with achieving a better rhythm as well as adenosine.
Adenosine is mainly used for SVT though.
Amiodarone is the other main one.
