A

Alike: both do an assessment, identify and prioritize problems, choosing best treatment plans, implant those plans or operations, and work with financials of the practice. Both are integral parts of public health.
Private practice- serves a single patient, Public health- serves a community or population of people.
Private practice-does exam. Public health-does survey/assessment.
Private practice-diagnoses, public health- analysis.
Private practice-tx plan, public health-program plan
Private practice-fee/payment, public health-budget/funding/financing.

  • this will require more dental workers.
  • budgets will be tight so we need to decrease the need for ER visits for dental related issues so dental offices will be required to be more equip to handle a dental related emergency in office.
