One of the oldest breeds in the world and known for their delicate face, high tail-carriage and spirit, and hardiness. They were bred by the Bedouin tribes in the desert and were kept pure or “Asil” for centuries.
Arabian
The first breed developed in the United States these horses were originally bred for short distance races. They later developed into the breed of choice for cattle ranchers and pioneers going west.
Quarter Horse
This breed was first recorded during the 16th and 17th centuries and was bred in Holland. They are known for their high leg action, relatively small head, and are considered a warmblood. They are known as riding horses and also carriage horses.
Friesian
A modern breed first formed in Kentucky they are known for their 4 beat gait, kind nature, and versatility. Usually seen as trail horses or competing in endurance.

A breed almost exclusively used for driving there are both horses and ponies with this name though 95% are ponies. They are known for their high leg action, fast gaits, and delicate proportions,
