Smooth breathing mark; Indicates no H sound
What are the three types of accents?
Acute( ´ ), Circumflex ( ῀ ), and Grave ( ` ).
The naming case; typically nominates the subject
Nominative
The most flexible “of” case; typically generates some description of the preceding noun.
Genitive
The case of personal interest; as in dating, typically names “to/for” whom an action is done.
Dative
Identifies the extent or limits of the verb’s action; makes accusation about what the subject did.
Accusative
The calling case; vocalizes who is being addressed (the nominative case spelling is often used instead)
