What are the steps of breast exam?

A

1) Consent + chaperone
2) Ask pt to undress and cover with gown
3) Inspect in three positions
4) Lie pt supine with arm behind head. Palpate systematically, including axillary tail
5) Examine lymph nodes in axilla and neck
