  • Chronic stable angina in combo w/ BB, amlodipine, or nitrate for pts w/ inadequate response to other anti-angina drugs
  • D: 500 mg BID. Max 1000 mg BID
  • 3A4 subtrate => inhibitor such as verapamil or diltiazem 500 mg BID max

  • Place under tongue/sit down immediately
  • Take 3 in 15 min, 5 min intervals PRN.
  • If not relieved after 1st dose => 911
  • Cont w/ NTG until paramedics arrive
  • Keep in original bottle
  • Protect from light, heat, and moisture
  • Keep container w/ u all the times
  • If do not have SL NTG use Amyl Nitrate (X)
  • Crush the cap and wave under nose
  • 0.3mL inhaled as needed/may cause HA, flushing. Flammable

  • Do not adm if SBP < 90 mm Hg => severe bradycardia or extreme tachycardia
  • Use w/ caution for suspected RV infarction (right ventricular infarction => hyopTN & bradycardia
  • Pts who have use viagra w/in past 24H => severe hypoTN refractory to vasopressors
