There is a small room that is 3 meters high, hanging half a meter from the ceiling is a man, who is roughly 1.8 meters tall, has hung himself, there is a small puddle of water under the man. How did he get up to the top of the room to hang himself?

He had a large block of ice and used it to get to the noose, he then waited for the block to melt and in the process hung himself.

Up and up and up it goes, but it never grows. taller than the tallest tree, but never dies. What is it?

A sailor is on a boat, he needs to stop to go to an island but if he throws his anchor of it wont reach the sea bed because its too deep. What does he do?

He breaks a hole in his boat and attaches the boat to a plank of wood, he then uses his boat as the anchor and swims to shore.
