The most SUPERFICIAL, THICKEST LAYER. Attached to the bone of the skull.
DURA MATER
Space UNDERNEATH THE ARACHNOID MATER that is filled with cerebrospinal fluid.
SUBARACHNOID SPACE
These four bumps (colliculi) are involved in VISUAL & AUDITORY REFLEXES
CORPORA QUADRIGEMINA
The DEEPEST, THINNEST LAYER. Attached to the outer surface of the brain
