James wanted to eat mac’n’cheese for lunch today. It is his favourite thing to eat. His dad tells James that they are all out of mac’n’cheese, so he will have to eat a sandwich instead. James does not like sandwiches as much as mac’n’cheese so he refuses to eat lunch.

It was Bonnie’s turn to pick a TV show to watch, but when she gets to the TV room, her younger brother is already watching TV. Bonnie asks her mom if she can pick the show next time.

Christopher was told that he would be able to see firefighters at the parade today. His family got there late and missed the firetruck. Christopher sat on the sidewalk and cried.

Rishi loves to play on the computer. He has already been playing on the computer for 1 hour when his mom tells him it is time for bed. Rishi doesn’t want to go to bed, so he tells his mom to “go away”.

Ramon is very excited to go to the new Lego store at the mall. His mom promised to take him there on the weekend, but when they go, the store is already closed. Ramon asks his mom if they can try again next weekend.

Savi got a new soccer ball for Christmas. She is excited to tell all of her friends about it. They are also excited to talk about what they got from Santa, but all Savi wants to do is talk about her soccer ball.

Khaleed has a favourite pair of shoes. They are white with blue stripes. Khaleed is playing outside with his sister and his shoes get mud on them. He asks his dad to help him clean his shoes.

Rica is proud of a craft she made at school. She wants to show her mom once she gets home, but her mom is busy working. Rica stands next to her mom and says “MOM MOM MOM MOM” as loud as she can.

Piper is helping her dad run errands. She wants to take her mask off in the store. Her dad explains that masks keeps herself and others safe. Piper decides to wait until they are in the car and have cleaned their hands before taking her mask off.

Amanda wants to have chocolate ice cream for dessert. Her dad gives her little brother the last of the chocolate ice cream so Amanda has to eat vanilla ice cream. Amanda is upset and pushes her brother’s bowl off the table.

Simin found a cool rock outside when she was playing. She wants to show her dad but he is busy talking to her neighbour. Simin waits until her dad is finished talking to show him the rock.

Brock likes playing with his toys in his room. He is playing with his lego and his little sister comes in to see what he is doing. He does not want his sister in his room so he hits her.

Jaminka is singing her ABC song at school and makes a mistake. This makes her upset so she starts to cry and stomp her feet.

Atiya is very good at biking. She is very proud of her biking and she likes to show her friends how to do tricks on their bikes. A new friend, Jane, is also good at biking, but Atiya wants to be the best, so she pushes Jane off her bike.
