Q

How is a scientist like a good detective? Use the scientific attitudes of a scientist and the scientific method to discuss.

A

Scientists is both like a detective because both have the scientific method. Honesty is important to be true to the data and published data/results. Curiosity - leads to new questions and hypothesis. Skepticism- allows one to question results and rethink the hypothesis. Open mindness allows them to think outside the box and search for other answers. Creativity allows them to think of new ways to develop equipment and to see possibilities for new discoveries etc.
