16
Q

What terminal nerves branch from medial cord?

A

Ulnar nerve and contributes to median nerve

17
Q

What does the long thoracic nerve run parallel with?

A

Lateral Thoracic Artery

18
Q

What causes winged scapula?

A

Paralysis of serratus anterior and damage to long thoracic nerve (C5-C7)

*seen after radical masectomy

19
Q

What causes Erb-Duchenne Palsy?

A

Lesion in superior trunk (C5+C6) of brachial plexus

20
Q

What causes Klumpke Palsy (claw hand)?

A

-Lower brachial plexus injury (C8+T1)
….C8 and T1 forms inferior trunk… which forms medial cord… contributes to median nerve + ulnar nerve (SO MEDIAN + ULNAR NERVES are affected).

-Horner’s syndrome may be associated
