Fishook

A

If you get a fishook stuck inside you tie a 3 foot long line of fishing line around the hook, put pressure on the end of the ring of the hook and pull the string out. Then clean the wound. If any signs of infection occur seek medical help.

Take victim into a shady area and fan them and apply cold wet towels on them. If they are fully aware give them water. Let them rest and stay hydrated

Shock

A

Shock is when a person is injured or very stressed the circulatory system might not provide enough blood to all parts of the body. This can cause organ failure and be life threatening.
Symptoms are weakness, restlessness, extreme thirst, nausea and throwing up, clammy and pale skin.
To treat for shock place victim in the recovery position and call for help.

Heat Stroke

A

Call for help then move victim in a air conditioned room or shady area. Loosen tight clothing and further cool the skin by fanning and applying wet cloths. If you have ice packs, wrap them and place them in the victims armpits neck or groin. If the person is able to drink give them small sips of water.

A

Hypothermia

A

Move person into a tent or shelter. Remove wet clothes and put them in dry clothes. Put them in a sleeping bag blankets or anything to make them warmer. If conscious give them warm liquids. Cover bottles with warm liquids and put them in the neck groin or armpit areas.
