  • orwell is showing his blind devotion allowing the pigs corruption to prosper
  • his maxim of “i will work harder” is not only simplistic showin ghis lack of eduction but also he is flawed aas he ignores corruption and exploitation which leads to his death as he can read the word “slaughter” - the pigs know this and so don’t even bother to buy a different van

    -> his strong devotion and work ethic to animalism and napoleon
  • adverb “always” shows boxer will never falter to give his complete obediance due to his blinded trust, no matter the corruption around him
