What do box plots show?
A
The spread of a data set.
It shows you the minimum and maximum values in a data set.

A
The difference between the upper quartile and the lower quartile.
It contains the middle 50% of values.

Why is the IQR more reliable measure of the spread than the range?
A
It isn’t effect by outliers as it is the middle 50%
