Monotropy/Monotropic
That the infant has one relationship which plays a significant role witht eh primary caregiver, in enabling emotional developement
Critical period
A window of timer where characteristics can develope. Anything outside of this time frame will not develope.
Social releaser
Social characteristics and behaviour which elicits caregiving. This leads to attatchment.
Continuity hypothesis
The idea that emotionlly secure infants go on to be emotionally secure,trusting,confident adults.
Internal working model
It is the internal veiw of how someone sees the world, enabling the indivisual to predict their surrounding environment
in attatchment - it is ho the individual expectations of a relationship.
