has a set schedule and hours of operation,
whereas the water taxi can be called at any given time
When stable and time permits, the ferry is the most cost effective and more comfortable for both patient and crew members
When transported, it is imperative that another crew on the Mainland is sent to meet the 225 crew in Horseshoe Bay.
this crew will transport the patient to the appropriate hospital.
Ensuring the 225 crew will be spending little time off the island and proper coverage is maintained
Water Taxi
*The water taxi can only transport the crew and the patient on the stretcher
When transported, it is imperative that another crew on the Mainland is sent to meet the 225 crew in Horseshoe Bay.
