some nerve cells are missing in the large intestine
so a child’s intestine can’t move stool and becomes blocked.

diverticulosis / diverticulitis
Diverticulosis is the formation of abnormal pouches in the bowel wall.
Diverticulitis is inflammation or infection of these abnormal pouches.
