what is diverticular disorder?
small pouches develop in the walls of the intestine and fill with food waste and bacteria acts on the food and produce acids and gases that inflame diverticula.

usually begins with non canceour growths (polyps). over time they can develop into colon cancer which if left undetected can be fatal
