Can I view different menus at the same time?
Yes, you can open multiple windows of QuickBooks Online Accountant or your client’s company and switch between them. This is especially useful if you want to review two or more client reports, or create a payment on one screen while reviewing the bill on the other. To open another window, select Accountant Tools at the top of the screen, then select New window.
What keyboard shortcuts can I use?
Knowing some keyboard shortcuts can save you time and boost your efficiency when working in QuickBooks Online. To see which shortcuts are available, in either QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Online Accountant, go to the Gear icon and select Additional info. Alternatively, select [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [?] simultaneously. This lists some common keyboard shortcuts to help you work smarter and quicker.
How can I find a client’s company ID?
To see a client’s company ID, first open the client’s company, then navigate to Additional info from the Gear icon. The client’s company ID shows at the top of the Additional information pop-up.
Can I open multiple companies at once?
Yes, you can access more than one company at the same time. However, use caution when doing so—it can be easy to mix them up and enter data into the wrong company!
