Campaigning by public speaking/ writing letters/ lobbying parliament.

Strengths:
Evidence for horrors of slavery.
Dispelled all stereotypes and created more sympathy for slaves.

Limitation:
Only supported thing that made slavery better rather than abolishing it completely.
