Diaphysis - The shaft of bone
Where are red & yellow marrow found?
Red marrow - Epiphysis/Ends of bone
Yellow marrow (fatty tissue) - Diaphysis/Shaft of bone

What is a synovial joint?
Contains a capsule filled with synovial fluid - joint allows extensive movement
What is a fibrous joint and where can it be found?
- Dense connective tissue
- Allows NO movement
- Sutures of skull

Coronal suture - Down the anterior sides
Sagittal suture - Down the middle of skull
Lambdoid suture - Down the posterior sides
