Have to post face amount of bond. Get all back if you show up, high flight risk

Have to pay 10% of face amount of bond, authorizes re arrest, bondsmen will find you if you don’t show

Post 10%, get all but 1% back

Release the person on the promise they will come to court

Get out of jail cost is zero but if you go MIA cost is amount of bond set
