- PEC - disconnect
- PSP - Disconnect
- Leg restraints - Disconnect
- T-handle - release
- Canopy - open or operate MDC
- Aircraft - Vacate
Immediate relight
- Throttle - off
- Relight button - press and release
- ROT caption - check on
- Throttle - idle
- RPM/TGT - monitor
If engine fails to relight or relight limits exceeded
- Throttle - off (30 sec if practical)
- Try an assisted or unassisted relight
Engine mechanical damage
- Throttle - idle or min practicable
Engine seizure
- Throttle - off
- Fuel pump - off
- LP fuel cock - open/closed (as required)
Engine oil pressure low
- Throttle - set 78% to 87% RPM
Fire inflight
- Throttle - min practical
- Check for evidence of fire
If fire confirmed
- Throttle - off
- Eng start - off
- Fuel pump - off
- LP fuel cock - closed
If still evidence of fire after 45 seconds
7. Eject
Engine bay or APU fire on ground
Or
JPOHT on ground
- Throttle - off
- Eng start - off
- Batt 1 & 2 - off
- Fuel pump - off
- LP fuel cock - closed
- Egress
Fire or loss of thrust on takeoff
If decision to stop is made
1. Abort
If takeoff is continued
- Throttle - max
- Stores - jettison(if required)
- Check for evidence of fire
If fire confirmed or unable to achieve a safe height
4. Eject
APU fire in flight
- Eng start - off
- Fly above 5000’agl and approximately 200kts
If control is lost
3. Eject
JPOHT in flight
- Throttle - min practical
Pressurisation failure
- Oxygen mask - toggle down
2. Back-up oxygen - on
Oxygen failure
Or
Oxygen flow/restricted oxygen flow
Or
Hypoxia
Or
Oxygen contamination
- Oxygen mask - toggle down
- Back-up oxygen - on
If BUOXY contents less than 1/8 or BUOXY caption not on
- Emerg oxy handle - pull
- Altitude - descend below 10000ft cabin altitude
Cockpit smoke and fumes
- Oxygen mask - toggle down
- Cabin conditioning - off
If smoke continues
- Non essential equipment - off
If smoke presents a danger
- Airspeed - reduce to minimum practical
- MDC handle - pull
Total hydraulic failure
- Hyd 1 & 2 gauges - check
If both pressures are less than 1340psi
- Eject
Abort
- Throttle - idle/off as required
- Brake chute - stream
- Brakes - Apply
Blown tyre on takeoff
If decision to stop is made
1. Abort
If takeoff is continued
1. Landing gear and flaps - leave down
Brake chute failure
If sufficient runway to stop
1. Brakes - apply
If insufficient runway to stop
- Brake chute - jettison
- Go around
Loss of directional control
Ground
For brake chute
1. Brake chute - jettison
For NWS failure
1. NWS - disengage
Brake failure after touchdown
Or
Antiskid failure
- Brake chute - stream
- Brakes - off
- Anti skid - off
- Brakes - reapply
Barrier engagement
- Throttle - off
- Brake chute - stream
- Brakes - apply
- Aim for centre panel
- Just prior to engagement release brakes and lower head
Out of control recovery
- Throttle - idle
- Controls - centralise
Passing 5000’agl, aircraft control not regained
3. Eject
Inadvertent brake parachute stream inflight
- Brake chute - jettison (both cockpits if dual)
Hot start
- Throttle - off
Engine surge or over temp
T6NL
- Throttle - idle or min practical
- RPM/TGT - monitor
If TGT more than 450C for 6 seconds at idle or surge suspected
- Immediate relight
