IF FIRE WARNING light remains on:
5. LAND IMMEDIATLEY
LOW FUEL (SYSTEM 1) or LOW FUEL (SYSTEM 2) (W)
- Clock… start stopwatch
If both LOW FUEL warning lights are on: - LAND WITHIN 10 MINUTES
OR
If LOW FUEL Warning light is on: - FUEL quantity indication… check
If both LOW FUEL Warning lights remain on: - LAND WITHIN 10 MINUTES
If one LOW FUEL warning light remains on: - Expect single engine failure after approx. 10 minutes
ROTOR RPM (W)
- Rotor RPM Indicator… Check
- Collective Lever… Adjust as necessary to maintain N(RO) [Rotor speed] within normal range.
XMSN OIL P (W)
LAND ASAP
ENG CHIP (SYSTEM 1) or ENG CHIP (SYSTEM 2)
On Ground:
1. Affected engine… Identify
If ENG CHIP caution indication remains on:
5. Single engine emergency shutdown… Perform
In Flight:
1. OEI Flight condition… Establish
If ENG CHIP caution indication remains on:
5. Affected engine… Identify
OPTION 1:
6. Single engine emergency shutdown… Perform (E-120)
OR
OPTION2:
6. ENG main switch… Idle
ENG FAIL (SYSTEM 1) or ENG FAIL (SYSTEM 2)
- OEI Flight condition… Establish
- Affected engine… Identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown… Perform (E-120)
ENG OIL P (SYSTEM 1) or ENG OIL P (SYSTEM 2)
If Indication is out of limit:
2. OEI Flight condition… Establish
3. Affected engine… Identify
4. Single engine emergency shutdown… Perform (E-120)
FADEC FAIL (SYSTEM 1) or FADEC FAIL (SYSTEM 2)
- Collective Lever… Adjust as necessary to maintain N(RO) within normal range
- Affected engine… Identify by small collective changes
- Respective TWIST GRIP… Adjust slowly to set 80% (+ or - 2%) N(1) [Gas generator] on the affected engine (TWIST GRIP caution my come on). Simultaneously adjust collective to maintain engine within limits
After Landing: - Respective TWIST GRIP… Reduce, before lowering the collective pitch lever to full down position (to keep N(2) [power turbine speed] /N(RO) [rotor speed] within limits
FUEL FILT (SYSTEM 1) or FUEL FILT (SYSTEM 2)
If both caution indications:
LAND ASAP
GEN DISCON (SYSTEM 1) and GEN DISCON (SYSTEM 2)
If operating IMC:
6. LAND ASAP
GEN OVHT (SYSTEM 1) or GEN OVHT (SYSTEM 2)
- Affected GEN switch… OFF
If GEN OVHT caution remains on for more than 1 minute: - OEI Flight condition… Establish
- Affected engine… Identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown… Perform (E-120)
ROTOR BRK
If the ROTOR BRK caution remains on:
2. LAND ASAP
SHED EMER
If operating IMC:
3. LAND ASAP
XMSN OIL P (SYSTEM 1) or XMSN OIL P (SYSTEM 2)
- XMSN oil pressure indicator… Check in normal range
XMSN OIL T
- XMSN oil temperature and oil… Check pressure indication
If Indications are out of limits: - Power… Reduce as much as possible
If oil temperature indication remains out of limits: - LAND ASAP
Single Engine Emergency Shutdown
- ENG MAIN sw (Affected engine)… IDLE, check indications, then OFF
Double Engine Emergency Shutdown
On Ground:
1. Both ENG MAIN sw… OFF
2. Both FADEC sw… OFF
3. Both fuel PRIME PUMP sw… OFF
4. BAT MSTR sw… OFF
If there is an indication that the engines are still running:
5. Both TWIST GRIPS… Turn to shut off
In Flight
1. Both ENG MAIN sw… OFF
2. Both FADEC sw… OFF
If there is an indication that the engines are still running:
3. Both TWIST GRIPS… Turn to shut off
AP A.TRIM (W) + ACTUATION + TRIM
- Flight controls… hands on
AP A.TRIM + GYRO + TRIM
- Flight controls… hands on
GYRO + AHRSi + ATT
- Flight controls… hands on
- RCU… Reconfigure to valid AHRS
AP A.TRIM + AUTOPILOT
- Flight controls… hands on
Reconfigured AHRS

Autorotation… perform
Double engine failure - HIGE
- Right pedal… apply as necessary to stop yaw
- Landing attitude… establish
- Collective lever… raise as necessary to cushion landing
After steady ground contact: - Collective lever… lower rapidly
Engine oil - Temp high
- Airspeed… increase if possible
If engine oil remains above limit: - OEI flight condition… establish
- Affected engine…. identify
- Engine main sw… ground idle
- Oil temp indicator… monitor
If engine oil temperature remains above limit: - Single engine emergency… perform
Engine overspend - drive shaft failure
- OEI flight condition… establish
- Affected engine… identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown… perform
Engine overspeed - governing failure
- Collective lever… Raise to maintain N2 and N(RO) within limits
- Affected engine… identify
- TWIST GRIP (affected engine)… reduce torque until the normal engine takes the load (TWIST GRIP and DEGRADE caution comes on)
- Collective lever… readjust as required to stay within limits
- ENG MODE SEL sw (affected engine)… MAN
- TWIST GRIP (affected engine)… adjust torque manually to 20-30% according to weight and ambient conditions
- Collective lever… readjust as necessary without changing TWIST GRIP position
After landing: - TWIST GRIP (affected engine)… reduce before lowering the collective lever to full down position (to keep N2/N(Ro) within limits)
Single engine failure - flight
- OEI flight condition… establish
- Affected engine… identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown… perform
Single engine failure - HIGE
- Collective lever… adjust to maintain rotor RPM
- Landing attitude… establish
- Collective lever… raise as necessary to stop descent and cushion landing
After landing: - Affected engine… identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown… perform
Single engine failure - HOGE
- Airspeed… increase if possible
- Collective lever… adjust to maintain rotor RPM
If forced landing required: - Landing attitude… establish
- Collective lever… raise as necessary to stop descent and cushion landing
After landing: - Affected engine… identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown… perform

If transitioning to OEI flight:
3. Airspeed… gain 65KIAS
4. Collective lever… adjust to OEI-limits or below
After reaching safe altitude:
5. Collective lever… reduce to OEI MCP or below

Single engine failure - takeoff
- Collective lever… adjust to maintain rotor RPM
If performing a rejected takeoff: - Landing attitude… establish
- Collective lever… raise as necessary to stop descent and cushion landing
After landing: - Affected engine… identify
- Single engine emergency shutdown… perform
If transitiong to OEI - flight:
2. Collective lever.. adjust to OEI-limits or below
3. Airspeed… gain, 65KIAS (VY)
After reaching safe altitude:
4. Collective lever… reduce to OEI MCP or below
5. Affected engine… identify
6. Single engine emergency shutdown… perform
AHRS 1 and AHRS 2
If operating IMC:
2. LAND ASAP
Cabin Fire
On ground:
1. Double engine emergency shutdown… perfrom
2. Passengers… alert/evaluate
3. Fire… extinguish if possible
In flight:
1. Airspeed… reduce, if necessary (65 KIAS recommend)
2. Passengers… alert
3. Heating/air conditioning… OFF
4. Fire… extinguish if possible
5. Fumes, smoke… eliminate, open sliding doors, windows and vents
6. LAND ASAP
After landing:
7. Double engine emergency shutdown… perform
Electrical fire/ short circuit (ground)
- Double engine emergency shutdown… perform
- Passengers… alert/evacuate
- EPU, if connected… disconnect
- Fire… extinguish if possible
Electrical fire / short circuit (in flight)
In flight:
1. Both BUS TIE sw’s… OFF
2. Both BUSTIE OPN cautions… ON
3. DC volts, GEN amps and BAT amps… compare, note higher load
4. BAT MSTR sw… OFF
If fire/smoke eliminated:
5. LAND ASAP
OR
If fire/ smoke continues:
5. Respective GEN sw (higher load)… OFF
If fire/smoke elminated:
7. LAND ASAP
OR
If fire/smoke continues:
7. Both GEN sw’s… NORM
9. Other GEN sw… OFF
If fire/smoke eliminated :
11. LAND ASAP
OR
11. Both GEN sw’s… OFF
12. LAND ASAP
Abnormal vibration

Tail Rotor Failure - Hover
HIGE
1. Both TWIST GRIPS…. turn to minimum

3. Collective lever… apply as necessary
After landing:

HOGE
1. Collective lever… reduce immediately
2. Both TWIST GRIPS… turn to minimum
If height permits:
3. Airspeed… gain
4. Collective lever… raise to stop descent and cushion
After landing:
5. Double engine emergency shutdown… perform
Tail rotor failure / fixed pitch tail rotor control failure - FWD Flight
- Collective lever… reduce to obtain minimum
- Airspeed… maintain 70 KIAS or higher
Test
- Auto rotation… perform
