- connective tissue -everything else
- nervous tissue - signals throughout the body
- muscle tissue- movement/ relaxation
- epithelial tissue - lining, outside skin

What are epithelium tissue cells composed of?
A
Composed of cells that unite to form a layer
- can be single layers or multiply layers

- a mass of cells, dividing excessively

A cell that: has stopped responding to regulatory signals that control cell division
- the cells may fail to attach to each other in

What is the difference between begnin and malignant?
A
Malignant tumours spread through the body and form secondary tumours,begnin tumours are non cancerous

Causes of cancer?
A
- ionising radiation (x-rays, gamma- rays, radioactive substances)
- UV radiation (sun beds, sunlight)
- chemicals ( tobacco smoke contains over 50 known carcinogens, asbestos, benzene)
- viruses
- poor diet
- inheritance
- hormones
