  • ionising radiation (x-rays, gamma- rays, radioactive substances)
  • UV radiation (sun beds, sunlight)
  • chemicals ( tobacco smoke contains over 50 known carcinogens, asbestos, benzene)
  • viruses

  • inheritance
  • hormones
