Nervous System

It is the body’s communication system that controls much of what your body does.

Delivers nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body.
Heart, blood vessels
Respiratory System
Series of organs responsible for taking in oxygen and expelling carbon dioxide.

Is to act as a barrier to protect the body from the outside world. Also works to retain body fluids, protect against disease, eliminate waste products and regulate body temp.
Skin, nails, glands, nerves
Endocrine System
Collection of glands that produce hormones and regulate metabolism, growth, and development of tissue function, reproduction, sleep mood etc
Skeletal System
Body support, facilitation of movement, protection of internal organs, storage of minerals and fat.
Digestive System
Mechanically and chemically breakdowns food materials, absorbs nutrients and expels waste
Reproductive System
Produces sex cells, hormones and when in conjunction allows for fertilization
Urinary System
Filters the blood and removes waste from it, concentrates waste into urine and expels urine from body.
Kidney, bladder
Muscle System
Provides body movement and generates heat when muscles contract
