Digestive system
Breaks down food into nutrients which enter the bloodstream in the small intestine
Skeletal System
Functions in support assisting with movement and protecting of internal organs as well as producing blood cells for the cardiovascular system
Muscular system
Create movement of the body by pulling on bones in lining internal organs
Reproductive system
Made up of ovaries and females which hold eggs in the testes in males that create sperm
Excretory system
Removes liquid waste from the body by filtering the blood in the kidneys
Endocrine system
Maintains homeostasis in the body by secreting hormones into the blood which are created in glands
Nervous system
Controls all actions and responses of the body using Messages rely to the nerve cells called neurons
Immune system
Protects the body from pathogen’s foreign substances assisted by the integumentary system which is made up of skin
Circulatory system
Made of cardiovascular system which pumps blood and lymphatic system which returns lymph back to the bloodstream
Respiratory system
Brings and oxygen and releases carbon dioxide from the body through the Lungs
