Part of the axial portion of the body, less protected but allows more mobility.

Includes the thoracic cavity and the abdominal cavity

Thoracic cavity
Holds the heart and lungs
Abdominopelvic cavity
Holds the abdomen and pelvis
Holds the mouth, including the teeth and tongue
Oral Cavity
Connects the oral Cavity all the way to the rectum
Digestive cavity
Hold the eyes
Orbital Cavity
Within and behind the nose
Nasal Cavity
Contains tiny bones medial to the eardrums
Middle ear cavity
