When to give CAN reports?

A

A new critical factor is discovered.
A previous task is complete, and the unit is ready for re-tasking.
If, for some reason the task cannot be complete.
Incident command requests.

What is a PAR report?

A

A PAR is sent by the senior crew member when requested by the IC to confirm that they can account for all personnel under their command.

What is the standard risk-management plan?

A

We will risk our live A LOT to save SAVEABLE live.
We will risk our live A LITTLE, in a highly calculated manner, to save saveable property.
We will not risk our lives AT ALL, for what is ALREADY LOST (people or property).
