what is blood pressure measured by
sphygmomanometer, it fills with air and closes off blood flow in the brachial artery of the arm
what is systolic (pumping)
a low pitch sound, pressure produced by the contraction of ventricles
what is diastolic (filling)
sound disappears, the pressure produced when the ventricles relax
where is the highest blood pressure located and the lowest blood pressure
the highest blood pressure is in the aorta because it is located in the heart and the lowest blood pressure is in the capillaries
