How do you insert the needle?
-Anchor with thumb on non-dominant hand 2 inches below insertion spot
-bevel up
-15-30 angle for arm
-10 angle for hand bc veins are closer to surface
What to do if petechia occurs
-petechia (small red dots)
-continue drawing

butterfly: aerobic
syringe: anaerobic
