Q

what is the Crystalloid osmotic pressure

A

it is the pressure generated by electrolyte mainly NaCl , this pressure control water distributibn betweeen inside and outside of cells . hence its improtant in manintaing fluid balance acroos cell membrane

Q

colloid osmotic pressure what is it

A

it is the pressure generated by plasma proteins mainly (albumin) , this pressure control water distributibn betweeen inside and outside of blood capillaries , its normally about 25mmHg which is 0.5% of total osmotic pressure
