blood
nutrients, water, and sugars get transported through the body by this substance in blood; it is the yellow-colored liquid part of blood. It composes just over half (55%) of the blood’s makeup. The role of this substance is to carry the other components of blood, such as blood cells and platelets. It also carries nutrients, sugar, and water to cells. Waste is also transported to the kidneys by it, so it can be removed. Finally, this substance is responsible for transporting chemicals, like hormones, through the body, just makes up over 55% of the human body

white blood cells
the runners; A little less than half (45%) of blood is composed of these cells. They are disc-shaped, and they are designed to carry oxygen to the other cells of the body. These cells use a substance called hemoglobin to carry oxygen. Hemoglobin helps give blood its red color. In fact, these cells actually turn a darker red when they are not carrying oxygen. They also carry carbon dioxide away from the cells to be removed by the lungs.
