A
- reacting to original blog post which was published online
- usually part of an online discussion, mainly refers to content of blog → starting point of discussion
- style: similar to the one in original post, usually informal
- no title, but name/username, date (& time)

1) Introduction:
- usually addresses writer of original blog post & their comments
- states why topic is important for you
2) Main Body:
- consists of 2 / 3 paragraphs
- explain, why topic affects you, personal experience & opinion
- give writer advice if they asked for help

- usually address writer again
- give final piece of advice / clearly state opinion again
- can encourage writer to take action
