Sunrise
When a profession first applies to be regulated/licensed
lengthy process needing justification for public protection because it places financial burden on state tax payers

every 8 - 10 years in CO
The profession must justify why they need continued regulation
Statute
State Practice Act signed by the state governer which becomes “the law” and creates a board that makes sure/writes rules & regulations exist to clarify the law

Supervision
watching a person/activity to make certain that everything is done correctly and safely

General Supervision

PT is physically present or immediately available in the same physical building to support the supervised individual
