Q

How do you find scientific notations

A
  • you just count the number of places the decimal has moved until you reach a number between 1-9 and then that will become your power
    e.g 1080000000
    = 1.08 x 10*9

Q

how do you change small numbers into scientific notations

A
  • you must count how many places the decimal has to move backwards until you reach a number between 1-9 then that will be your power
    you power will be negitive
    e.g 0.00012
