  1. Severe thunderstorms with surface winds greater than 50kts
  2. Hail at the surface greater than 3/4” in diameter
  3. Tornadoes

Also issued to warn pilots of embedded thunderstorms, or ones with heavy or greater precipitation that effects 40% of a 3,000 sq.ft. region.
