what do the ER do to a patient with internal bleeding :
Intravenous fluids and blood transfusions
if a patient had bleeding or shock dont :
give him water cause that will dehydrate the rest of patient’s blood and heart will beat fastly
لأنه سيدخل عملية جراحية٬ وهذا يعني التخدير٬ والتخدير العام يحتاج أن تكون المعدة فارغة من الطعام والسوائل لهذا يُطلب من المريض قبل العمليات الجراحية الصيام وذلك لأن التخدير يُرخي العضلات ومنها المعدة مما يؤدي لرجوع كل ما فيها إلى المجاري التنفسية وهذا يؤدي إلى اختناق المريض
a patient who had bleeding needs :
iron in food
and vitamin c to absorb iron
if a patient had internal bleeding :
laying the person down, raising their legs above the level of their heart and not giving them anything to eat or drink
internal bleeding versus external bleeding
External bleeding refers to bleeding that flows out of the body. Examples include nosebleeds and bleeding from a minor skin cut. Internal bleeding refers to bleeding that occurs inside the body. This can happen following
internal bleeding in stomach
internal bleeding brain
internal bleeding in
a patient with external bleeding :
direct pressure is best for external bleeding, except for an eye injury. Maintain pressure until the bleeding stops
remember you need to make sure your hands clean or you can wear gloves
keep the person lying down, elevate legs, cover with a blanket).
Encourage keeping the wound clean and dry to prevent infection.
to distinguish between Internal bleeding and external bleeding :
ultrasound, CT scan, or both
