- he went to drawing school
- due to anti-authoritarian views
- if he went to school he would be ‘following the style of a fool’

- believed the upper class and CoE were corrupt and exploitative.

- Angels on a tree
- Felt they were true perception of reality– seeing beyond the fallen world

- Believed that those who loved the LORD would go to heaven
- Those who loved themselves and were very materialistic would go to hell
- Believed that evil originates in man-kind due to The Fall.
